i've seen a gangrel prince too and he did horribly. but then again, the player didn't know too much about larp to begin with...
so, that might have a bit to do with it.

The city of McAllester, OKlahoma has a malkavian prince. His name is Jerimiah, sired by Pandemonia. Things seem to be working well there, except that most vamps outside the city seem to think its Gangrel Run. Gangrel run just doesnt seem to be a good explanation for why anyone who tries to take over leaves screaming, with a few xtra derangements...

I vote Mark for Prince.
If he declines, I would want to rethrone Batty.
But gabriel would make a good prince.

(Babbles incoherently listing the names of everyone in Cascadia, saying they would make a good prince, including the mortals, then runs into the darkness screaming. noting more is heard but an echoe... echoe...)
