Well, I've been off visiting our very own Lady Cyrilynn in Everett (near Seattle) - To say I didn't want to come home again would be complete understatement, she's such a sweetheart - oh and watch out for that grandaughter of hers, who will bat her baby brown eyes at you and empty your wallet in pursuit of ice cream, sodas and all things which make six year olds happy.
Anyway, I spotted this on a day out to Diablo Pass...

And I thought of you all.
I *SO* don't want to go back to work on Monday. *sigh*

Nope, he didn't. I had to drag him kicking and screaming to our favorite all-you-can-eat buffet place, over the Puget Sound on a ferry ride (where I got a sunburn on my forehead!), on an all-day whale watching tour where we saw:
eagles & eagle nests (did you know they can be the size of a queen sized mattress?)
blue herons
guillemot pigeons
seals and pups
orcas
doll dolphins
lighthouses
learned a lot of the San Juan Islands history (did you know a war started over a pig!!??)
I kidnapped him to an arboretum and I even managed to show off our "dungeon" with it's special resting place for vampires!! THEN I practically had to BEG him to cook a dinner for us..........::notices a frowning figure of Julius standing over there, tapping his foot::....um....HI! I was just telling everyone how we entertained you while you were here. ::manages to try to look VERY guilty for having lied about WHO was reluctant to leave the house and the begging part::
Heh.
::Julius's tapping gets louder:: ::Cyrilynn changes the subject quickly::
Um....if/when he should return again I plan on, uh, taking....yes, that's the word.....taking him to:
The Museum of Flight
The Pike Street Market
Watching "Finding Nemo" with Shawnna
The Japanese Gardens
Up to Snolqualmie Falls in the mountains
Back to the Chocolate Shack
Whale watching again
Have a traditional home cooked meal complete with the cherry pie he never got
And I'm trying to think of even more!! I'll have quite the list by the time he manages to get back here! hehehhee
Anyone else want to visit and be "entertained"?

The cherry pie I never got, even though *I* picked the cherries, I should add.

ah Washington... my native state. Last time I was in the Museum of Flight I was in my early teens.
BTW: don't listen to anyone that says there's anything in Olympia. I can only wish that the gov would nuke this pathetic town so I can be happy again. Right along with its Tacoma counterpart. Both cities need to disappear.
