From reading some of the posts here.. i get the impression that you all still play the game?... The whole reason i am not on the MB much is because i mosly enjoyed Playing the Game. Not just posting.. But if you guys are really back.. (( or Still here)) i may have to put the game back on.( with Battys help)).

There is still no game to compare with Vampire.. and now id bet all the tweakers and power gamers have moved on.. so all that is left is the RPers.

Please post here if you still go "In game" at least once a week. or if not .. when you do go.. or if you do..

OOHHHH and i think a Nos prince is a great idea..

Not sure. Actually I'm moving into my new apartment in about two weeks and getting high speed...so I'll probably reinstall.

I might play very occasionally, but I'm finding it hard to find time to even write atm.

I've still got the files archive up on my server. Feel free to grab anything you like.

A semi-official file list that we used for the birthday reunion is at:

Including the special <grin> map/hub I put together for the event, the unmissable "tromslondon".

I wouldn't jump the gun and say we have no tweakers and power players around anymore, but there's still an organized set of roleplayers here and there that schedule private gaming sessions.

I have noticed that the newbie room isn't around as much. It's up maybe once a week so I see this is a good sign of change.

I stoped playing because I did not have the time. I did reinstall and ran threw the single player it was fun. I tried to get the MP to work and redo Cain and some of my other char's but I could not get it to work right I guess I just need to sit down and do it one night. Those that are playing are you in a SoC room or just in general rooms scatterd?

It'd be fun to play again occasionally. I don't think I'd ever be able to dedicate the time I used to...but a little in game action would be a nice touch to the MB, although to be honest I'm not sure how interested I would be in having Gabe's action sequences in game any longer...most of his solutions are more than

"Gabe hits with stick until it dies"

But some visual RP would be fun.

I reinstalled the game and played single player right through just last month (finished it in record time too *grin* ) but I can't play online because but my router won't let me join games. The only option is to direct connect the cable modem which means the rest of the network is offline til I'm done. Unless of course there is a way around this that I don't know of? *looks hopeful*

oh and drain, congratulations on the birth of your second son *hugs*. I trust Jack passed on my message?

pay the $10 and buy a new one. Otherwise that's a warez (pirating) question... be very careful about those.

batty:

There is a site I know of that might help you with your router. the site url is http://www.vampdepobloodlines.com/epitave/ax.php.

Catherina Tempest's site... now known as Mordred. HE's good at networks.

I installed mine on XP easily, it went on just like I was installing on W98

And thanks for the port crack, I'm not exactly sure how to use it but will endeavour to figure it out :)

If you do have trouble run in windows 98 emulation mode for both installing and running the game. That's what I have to do to get it to work with windows2000.
