she shuttered remembering the time she lured a young vamp away from its safe haven because jules wanted to make one of his bloody statements to the carmarilla. She could still see him spiked to the wall of the Metro-link with that note around his neck. "Carmarilla stouge" it read.

"my sweet Adrianna, do you see that fine man over there, the one with the long blond hair and long jacket, Quite your type I think..."

She looked and saw the man jules was refering to. Once he was the type of guy she would have gone for, but now there was a cold place in her heart for such things as love. She lowered her eyes and tried to remember what it felt like to be mortal agian. "yes, I see him... what about him?"

jules smiled "his name is jonathan, he's a venture of high rank here in LA."

"and?"

"and I would like for you to get to know him, see he holds great sway over the prince of LA... Sway our clan could use..."
