well, for some reason i can't log out on my computer, is it a problem with the board or with my computer?

Try clearing/deleting a cookie that browser makes for www.vampirerp.com.
Netscape 7.1 is quite good at it. clearly usable options.
IE on other hand you would have to nuke the whole contents of Cookies dir in browsers options.

well, i seem to have got this problem when i started using mozilla firebird. i can log in under my other characters on other computers. but i don't know if it's something inherent in mozilla...

and i'd rather not use netscape. i've had nothing but problems with it:)
