I think he mean't Dr. Who's galactic screwdriver or whatever it's name is is a better item than a lightsaber, as it can do pretty much ANYTHING.

Do please remember that the original post said "no escalating into bigger and bigger guns" which is where this was heading, it's now back on track into silliness.

Further to this, the particular Doctor in question (Tom Baker) always played the part as having a thing about Jelly Babies, hence Batty posted a big pile of them, thus destroying the Doctor.
