mine ate it again today. rather than paying to diagnose and replace parts, im gonna replace the whole thing. its over 4 years old, and i found a complete system for just over 800 USD.

old pc:
1.2ghz amd athalon
1gb ram
111 gb hd

new pc:
intel 2 core quad. 2.5 ghz each
1.8 ghz fsb
4 gb ram
500 gb hd

plus ill prolly throw my old hd in there too.
oh and i get a 22inch lcd upgrade from my 17"
mouse and keyboard included too.

I'm excited, computers about 8x faster then mine. and we all know how fast a brand new comp runs.

although i hoped not to replace for 2 more years :-X
