Syd's body struggled as he worked his way through an array of weeds overgrown in a land enriched with them. He continued moving on, ignoring the tiny parsites biting away on his cold dead flesh as if he had sired them. The moon was full on this evening and dusk would bare in only a few hours. Slowly but surely he began passing an old Oak entwined and branched off in two ways almost as if it had seperate personalities.

On the right path at least, He thought to himself.

Looking up he could see a broken down shack on the skyline wood rotten with holes giving way for rain to seep downwards into its home, residence of a darylic no doubt, or perhaps an old man who liked to fish with his grandson on the small lake it overlooked.

Syd's overwhelming pain of hunger drove him on an esche line towards the humble structure.

Perhaps their is a midnight snack awaiting.

He begain salivate as pictures of a beatuful dark haired women began running through his eyes. Her supple pale, although quite vibrant with life, skin glissened in the moonlight as she bent over to see her reflection in the water.

His steps became lighter as he approched careful not to give way to his presence and alrert his prey. The wind howeled and he peered around the corner of the entrance hugging his body to the wall in an attempt to minimize his silhoutte. Raising his head up he took in a deep breathe through his nose as if smelling a fine wine. A putrefying smell enthralled of something other the decayed wood and stagnent water, a tale sign of anything but life. Syd knocked down the reminents of the door and took notice of a middle aged man spralled out on the floor wearing an olive green jumpsuit and the name tage reading Ted.
Syd sighed looking at the entrails spralled along the floor, perhaps another kine had gotten to him first, but doubtful. Although he was not the opulent well off type of blood he deserved thoughts of devouring his veins while he was still living emerged. He pulled his head aside and paused. He could not drink the blood of something so....dead.
Stepping out of the doorway he heard a squeek.
Rats
Quickly he snatched the rodent whose tail was trapped under his foot. Not believing was he as about to do he slowly began walking outside holding the rat with both hands as it began knawing at his thumbs in a desperate struggle to escape. It felt like years since had last ate and he struggled with a decision he felt was well underneath him. Without further debate he perforated its furry skin and continued on his path
None shall ever know of this, he hought to himself.
Still feeling famished he began coming up on Cascadia's cemetery a clear mile marker only minutes away from home, senses gave way that dusk was only minutes away now too. He began hurrying down the bare streets and avenues until a most familiar Building appeared. Stopping to admire he realized this was it, what he had been searching for, a place he was once a keeper of.
The elysium, he smirked as he began sprinting to its enormus doors.
As he opened the door the suns first beams of light chapped his neck. The pain was so unbareable he dropped to his knees crawling inside as he felt his skin quickly turning into ash. If only he had ate more he would have been stronger. He crawls into a corner of shade only to notice that the roof of his beloved elysium was no more, unable to move and no where to move he would be dead soon. Syd curled himself into the fetal position and turned to ash blowing into the winds and dispersed among the land he one called home.
His eyes began to open slowly only to see a blury outline of someone calling out to him.
Syd is that you?
His body had ached and it felt as though he were in toripor for centuries, a feeling he had before, and awakening to a familiar friendly voice.
Was this a dream? He thought
((Anyone like to step in?))
