Batgirl and Valek had discussed the matter at length. She had always looked up to Valek, he had brought her to this city and he was the wisest kindred of their kind that she had ever known.

"Do not bury them together" he warned her.

The arrangements were made. The moon was waxing and the night was right. She knew what she had to do.

She crept silently into the Cappadocian Catacombs, first to the storeroom where she acquired a shovel then down the long empty corridors. Her thin white hand found the hidden panel which opened the heavy stone wall in front of her. She slipped through, probably unnoticed, and ascended the stone stairs. Again her thin white hand found the second hidden panel in the next stone wall and it too slid out of the way revealing another long empty corridor.

Batgirl walked to the earth room, crossing herself in prayer to Cappadocius before entering the moist fragrant room.

She toiled for several hours until two perfectly sized graves were dug.

"Morrow eve will see Rofellos and Karmina put to rest."

:two sets of eyes were following the former prince around the building. as she went down the staris to the basement of the secret cappadotion hideaway, the furrry rat took his small body to the crack in the wall that lead down to the basement.
