she wandered around the rooms, she was bored, didn't know what to do with herself...she had been to the stables but the horses didn't seem to appeal to her at the moment..it was more fun riding if you had company.
she had spent a lot of time in the library but her body ached from sitting curled up in the chair so long so she had decided to explore.
The large oak door at the end of the corridor pushed open easily and she listened to see if anyone was around. convinced that noone was she walked the corridors, looking in the rooms and stopping occasionally to look at the paintings on the wall. she smiled as she found the room that she was looking for and walked into it. as she sat on his chair in front of his desk and looked at the computer...her fingers hesitated over the power button...and then pulled away..telling herself not to be stupid...he wouldn't be hiding anything from her.
she felt in her pocket and put the letter that she had written him on his desk(you have e mail!)  hoping that she wouldn't get the blame for what happened to Alek.
As she walked back to her side of the building she grinned there was one room that she hadn't looked at yet.

The moonlight shone on the water and cast shadows around the pool area. confident that there was noone around she stood at the side of the swimming pool and slipped her clothes off and dived into the water , gasping as the coldness hit her body.

Sorenti looked up from the far end of the dark room, the central pool cast an almost eerie glow across the walls as the moonlight reflected. As he watched her dive in completely naked, the ripples sent light dancing in agitated motions. He stayed quiet and closed the book he had been reading, pleased to see her evidently more at ease and relaxed.

Sorenti stood up from his favourite reading chair in the corner and walked slowly towards the pool, careful only to approach when she was swimming away from him. Memories of another pool, another time hit his mind hard, but he shook them off and watched her smooth body glide through the water seemingly effortlessly. After a few minutes, he coughed quietly and stepped out of the shadows, letting the moonlight bathe him in it's blue essence.

"Good evening my dear, feeling better I see?" he said with a wry smile.

she swam under the water the length of the pool and surfaced the other side of it..she brushed her hair from her face and smiled to herself..sorenti had told her that she was safe now and was free to move about as she wished  he hadn't told her exactly what had happened but had reassured her that all was well.

"good evening my dear"
she looked around quickly and saw him....."yes im much better thanks....where did you appear from...?"
she swam across to the side of the pool where he stood watching her.
she grinned at him "I didnt think anyone was around...so thought id come for  swim....and i dont have a costume at all so....."
she glanced at her pile of clothes on the floor....
she leaned her arms on the side of the pool and looked at him...remembering when she had spoke to him earlier and he had refused to say what she needed to hear.
"I dont suppose princes swim much do they?" she asked cheekily.......

((ok, now if Sorenti takes all hsi clothes off...its exactly as the movie I to....umm...that movies from DISNEY..yeah with the uh, naked chick and the..uh  Prince!

Sorenti looked down at her in the water, a faint smile on his lips...

"No...I don't think Princes do swim all that often, not enough time I guess.....and if you'd told me you didn't have a costume...well...I could have got you one.....though I'm glad you didn't" he said with a smirk

"And I don't think a swim would be a bad idea" he added as he began to remove his jacket.

Sorenti looked again at her smooth white body, tantalizing under the ripples of the pool. He smiled and eased his jacket off his shoulders, conscious of her eyes on him and loving it....

The sudden pain ripped through his mind and soul, shredding him with it's unrelenting waves. He dropped heavily to his knees, grabbing at the marble floor for suppport. As the pain grew, the images flashed before his eyes....the rose....the water.....the bottle....Sorenti clawed at the marble, desperately trying to control the pain, his fingers gouged deep score marks on the floor.

His mind screamed as lightning exploded inside it....the memories too strong and buried too deeply for too long...he was losing it, he couldn't control them. Blood flowed from his eyes in rivers of tears. Through the pain he looked at Rea's shocked face....he struggled out

"I...I'm...s..s...so...sor..sorry"

and then drowned a scream as the pain threw him across the room.....slamming into the walls and pillars, he fled the room, blood tears still streaming from his eyes. He searched for his way through the red mist and managed to get outside into the night air. The pain stopped for a brief second, seeming to Sorenti as though he had found heaven, but he took advantage of it and vanished into thin air, leaving only a few drops of blood from his tears where he had been.

((hehe surprised? I hope so lol though I think only Cain has even the slightest idea of what Rea has just unleashed lmao

   Gabriel nodded once more, listening to Drain shocking report of his Childe's behavior. Drain was enraged and words flew from his mouth nearly faster than Gabriel could hear them.
   "That little SHIT had his men attack me! One of them put me in torpor!! And THEN...."

   Gabriel gasped and fell from his chair onto the floor a pain shot through his skull like an axe. His head felt like it was splitting. Gabriel's eyes began to well up with blood. He stood up shakily...
   "What the......." his head pounded and his body felt like it was ablaze. "Sorenti....."
   Gabriel could hear nothing, Drain's mouth was moving and he had stood up from his chair putting his hand foward. Gabriel shook his head and pushed his way out of the room.
   "Aaaah....Sire what's wrong....." Gabriel staggered down the hall. The next few minutes blurred together...talking to Fredrick.....sitting in the back of the limo waiting to get to his Sire's Palace.....why hadn't Sorenti collapsed from the pain yet??? Gabriel knew his torment could not be a mere fraction of what Sorenti was feeling....how did he withstand it?
    Finally...as the castle loomed in the distance...a sick silouette....Gabriel collapsed against the leather seats, blood tears trickling down onto the black carpeting.
