((okies here we go

The limousine glided down the road with the fine handling one would expect from such a quality piece of machinery. The night sky reflected off of it's black exterior...the stars shown in a reversed position...confusing the heavens. From a bird's eye view one would be able to see the moon roof open.
A slender man with long blonde flowing hair, tightly wrapped in a ponytail climbed out onto the top of the moving limo. His trench coat flapped violently in the wind. The luxury car began to speed up, taking the hairpin turns far too fast to be considered a safe speed.
The resistance from the wind in his coat threatened to throw the man off, with a cast iron grip he sunk his fingers into the steel of the roof, creating deep grooves in the metal. Letting one arm go, let the wind rip his coat from it. Slamming the hand back to the roof he let his other arm go free. The coat, now removed from both arms, flew wistfully into the wind. Resistance free, the man proceeded towards the front of the limo on all fours, clawing dents in the once flawless exterior of the black limousine.
The passengers, Gabriel, the former Prince, as well as the Gangrel Graventhorp, had been discussing their destination when they noted the driver took the turn away from Esylium. Gabriel had attempted to call the driver several times on the phone but to no avail. The protective glass that seperates driver from passengers, was specially reinforced in the car.
Despite their rampant attacks on the glass, it had persisted in keeping them out. It was then, with the trees flying by at an alarmingly faster rate, that Gabriel had opened the sunroof and leapt onto the roof.
Gabriel neared the front of the car now and could see the limousine hood ornament glistening in the moonlight. Overhead tree branches flew by with speed that his eyes could barely follow. As he neared the windshield, his body slid over the drivers moonroof. As he did, it slowly began to open, pulling back and revealing the inside of the car. Gabriel clenched his fist in preparation. His plans quickly dissapated however, as the driver pulled a shotgun from the conceals of the underside of his seat. His hand still on the wheel, he pointed it skyward, the barrel pointed squarly at Gabriel's face.
Gabriel let a small gasp escape him and bolted upward to a standing position. There was a bright flash accompanied by a large boom. The Kindred felt the rush of air fly by him as the buckshot nearly took his head off.
Now upright, the air force slowly began to push the Ventrue back. Gabriel stood cartwheeling his arms in the darkness. He looked and watched in horror as a huge tree branch lumbered towards him in the darkness. No time! He willed time to slow down, not much, but just enough. Allowing his muscles to increase their speed, the Elder leapt into the air the bulk of his body JUST missing the branch. His foot, however, caught the branch, causing Gabriel to cartwheel in the air before coming down hard on the roof of the limousine. The driver now reached up enough so that the shotgun rested on the roof and began firing blindly, his hand still firmly on the steering wheel. Gabriel gasped and slid off the roof. In midair he sent his fist crashing through one of the windows and grasped for anything he could. His iron grip held tight to the door and he lay horizontal on the side of the limousine. Above him he could still hear the shotgun blasts going off.

((help!

((whoa...ok, didn't expect this... And Bats is in the limo as well dude.

Graventhorp heard the shotgun shots and hoped none had hit Gabriel. He had to do something, and fast. He turned and saw Batgirl still hitting the crystal that separated the passengers from the drivers, the crystal had obviously been modified to sustain almost anything. Almost.
"Stand back." Thorp muttered to the Cappadocian and reached under his coat, producing the gleaming blade of Lupus Mortis. Batgirl understood and changed to the seat further from the crystal and waited.
Thorp felt the unfamiliar surge that came from holding the legendary Gangrel weapon and narrowed his eyes, trying to see through the totally tinted glass. Not being able to see through it, he tried to smell what was behind it, but the open moonroof with the howling wind carried too many scents that were confusing to his nose.
"Do it!" Batgirl suddenly yelled at Thorp, and Thorp reacted by pointing the plade's tip at the crystal and pushing with all his might. Lupus Mortis and half of Thorp's right arm passed through the crystal almost instantly, obviously surprising the driver that swerved hard to the left, making the limo leave the "road" in the forest and on to the bumpy, tree-filled terrain. Thorp thought it was dumb luck thay hadn't driven rigt into a tree as he smashed the weakend glass and grabbed the driver by the neck, pulling him into the back of the limo, breaking his arm that was sticking out of the moon roof. Thorp heard the clatter of the shotgun on the roof, the driver had lost his grip on it, the forward force forcing the weapon back, hitting on the trunk and tehn falling. "he's all yours" Thorp shouted over the howling wind from the moonroof at Batgirl, who grabbed the driver and stabbed him in the neck with a wierd Cappa weapon. Thorp wondered why the hell hadn't the limo slowed down, if there was no one pressing the pedal when a tree filled the view. Thorp was in mid-jump towards th driver's seat when the limo hit a tree full speed and everything went black.

The City Gangrel slowly let his eye lids rise. He was lying on what used to be the limo's front and now was nothing but twisted metal plus shards of glass and wood.  His mind swam, not being able to get fully concious, and he was in excruciating pain. He let his eyes wander down over his own body and found a branch as thick as his thigh protruding from his stomach. He let a pained growl escape his blood drenched lips and closed his eyes. The branch went through Graventhorp and through the limo, sticking him to the vehicle. He could barely stay concious, but still wandred how the hell he had survived when he felt something in his hand. Lupus Mortis' hilt.
"Graventhorp? Thorp you he...oh...crap." Gabriel had just regained conciousness, being slapped by Batgirl, and had walkd to the front of the wreckage looking for the once Gangrel. Finding him.
"H-here." Thorp managed to whisper, losing precious vitae as it dribbled from hsi mouth when he opened it.
"Your still alive. Good. Bats! Will you give me a hand here!?!" .
Batgirl and Gabriel put their arms around the branch and pulled, and everything went black again for Thorp.

"WAKE UP! NOW!" Thorp opened his eyes in a flash. He was on the wood's floor, Gabriel was looking down at him, yelling.
"Good! Take this." Thorp felt the comfy coppery feeling of blood in his mouth as Gabriel poured a plasma bag into it. "Use Blood heal, the wound is now closed, it should be easier."
Thorp tried to concentrate on the discipline that over 700 years ago his sire, Odnan, had taught him, and succeded using it twice, exhausting his blood supply. He let his eyes open again and sat up. Gabriel was now 50 meters to the left, and Batgirl 30 to the right. They looked like they were searching for something.
He felt weak with the lack of precious blood, but not really that bad. He looked down and touched his stomach. There was a hole on his shirt and blood...but there seemed to be no wound. He stood up and let his hand wander to hsi back. The same as in front, except the hole was through his shirt AND his beloved black leather coat. He gasped when he realized hsi ahnds were empty, and sighed with relief as he spotted Lupus Mortis at his feet. He grabbed it, checked for any damage, finding none,  and replced it on its sheath.
"Ya got any more vitae on ya?" Thorp managed to shout at the ventrue, finding hsi throat sry and raspy. Gabriel replied by throwing 2 plasma bags at the City Gangrel. Thorp emptied them both and walked to the Ventrue.
"Listen.. i want to thank you for.."
"Don't thank me, thank that damned blade of yours. Batgirl says that's what really saved you."
"I didn't know it healed..."
"It does not really heal per se, but in fact gives you strength so your own body heals itself. You should've seen it, as soon as we removed you from that thing, that hole closed right up."
Thorp looked at the limo. The branch that was once protruding from his own body was still protruding from the car, judging by that, and the blood marks, the kindred had  obviously slid Thorp out of the branch instead of the other way around.
"Oh. So what are you looking for anyways?"
"That...fucking son of a Tremere that caused all this." Gabe replied, obviously using the word "tremere" as one of the worst insults he could think of.
"but the Cappa stabbed him with that..."
"yeah, yeah, so we think he should be dead, maybe his body flew and is somewhere around here..."
Thorp raised hsi eyebrow and walked to the wreckage, raising both eyebrows as soon as he got close. One scent invaded hsi nostrils...
"He isn't dead..." Thorp muttered
"of course he is!" batgirl cried out from not that far away
"No, I don't think a wound like that could kill a garou, not even in human form...."

((heh heh, gave it a  twist...this is turning into a whole novel!! Continue please...

:Drain slowly crawled form the sewers, at the closest exit to battgirls haven. Keeping a close eye out for the assimites who were supposed to be everywhere.  He checked his diagram of there normal positions.  one should have been straight accross for the door, in the building.  after a quick examination he found that the hired guard was gone and a sign or a strugle was obvious to the trained eye.  a quick and one sided strugle but a strugle non the less.  Some one had dispatched the guard quickly and quietly.

:Drain used his abbility to Vanish and searched the entire area finding all of the other guards still in place.

:who ever had done this was after a specific person or thing and probibly not batgirl
:the sword?
:graventhorp?
:Gabe?
:
:bells began to go off in Drains head......GIO REVENGE against Gabe.  or Ventrue payback. and if that was the case then Valek and himself were also in danger.

Drain ran down two city blocks and attacked a teenager leaving his house.  It was dangerous to attack out in public view but he was hidden with the shadows and desperate times.......
The car roared to life with the unconsious teen in the back near death.  Drain began to drive twords the first place he could think of that batts would concider neutal ground.. The asylum

The world was covered in a thick white film. Gabriel tried to shake it was but it persisted.
"Uuug...." he moaned wearily. They had searched the surrounding area for nearly ten minutes with no sign of the driver. He glanced over, peering through his exhaustion-induced fog, to see the former Prince and Graventhorp searching the bushes for the driver.
Batgirl looked vindictive, slashing through the bushes violently with a sneer upon her once beautiful face. Gabriel could feel his heart sink a little. She had once been so kind and compassionate. He thought back to all the times she had treated him like an old friend. Since her departure to find the Cappadocians she had been different.
He let his eyes drift to Graventhorp. An experienced City Gangrel, Thorp had proved useful many times, especially during their stint with the Garou. His new weapon would only add to the power. He was a bit more tactful than the former Prince, carefully sniffing the areas he searched, looking for traces.
Gabriel sighed and went back to his method....waiting and staring. He glanced about the forest in front of him, his vision impared greatly. Everything seemed as if dripping with a creamy milk. Rubbing his eyes, he stared again, but no improvement.
He heard the sound of the air splitting and instinctively moved to the side, a large dagger driving itself into the dirt he had just stood on. Gabriel looked towards the source to find the driver. He was scowling from behind a tree, his clothes tattered and torn.
Almost as if from nowhere, a revolver rested in Gabriel's palm. Using his powers of speed and strength Gabriel launched himself high into the air, carefully calculating his landing spot. He watched as the Garou passed beneath him, landing softly directly behind him.
Gabriel brought the revolver to bare, but was shocked at the speed at which he was thrown to the ground. DAMN! He has underestimated the Garou once again. He reached desperately for anything he could grasp.....

"He isn't dead..." Thorp muttered
"Of course he is!" Batgirl cried out from not that far away.
"No, I don't think a wound like that could kill a garou, not even in human form...." He replied.
"I beg your pardon Thorp... you were unconscious.  He took a lot of damage, I think it's safe to presume that we will find his body here somewhere.... now stop wasting time and help us search!" She was annoyed that her valuable research time had been interrupted and even more so that she could've been killed in the process.  She continued to hack away at the undergrowth with her scythe ((weird cappa-weapon)), grunting softly as she swung her blade into shrubs, hoping to uncover the lifeless body of their assailant.

The sound that shattered the air startled her and she swung around quickly to see Gabriel firing his weapon at the Garou that she thought was dead.

"My apologies to you Thorp." She nodded her head in his direction quickly then spun around to throw her scythe past Gabriel and into the creature's shoulder. "It appears I was mistaken"

She pulled a face as the Garou turned his attention from Gabriel to herself and quickly cast awe on him.

"Dammit Thorp help us!"  Thorp had already jumped into action, his injuries forgotten for the moment.  He pulled the Garou's dagger from the ground and readied himself to send the sharp steel deep into the creature's flesh.  Batgirl unshealthed her dark sword and moved left into the clearing as Gabriel fired the last round into the beast.

Batgirl cast awe again, this time the injured Garou stopped fast, his yellow eyes fixed on the Cappadocian.  Taking a deep breath, Batgirl gave the Garou a blast of plague wind which sent him staggering backwards towards Thorp.  She followed, a second blast of plague wind hit the Garou in the face, the vile effect causing him to vomit... the juicy chunks narrowly missing Gabriel. ((tee hee hee))

Thorp raised the dagger and lunged it hard into the Garou's back, the sharp metal tore into muscle and finally broke at the hilt as it hit bone.  The Garou howled, the chilling sound echoed through the night, Batgirl stepped forward again to continue her assault on the Garou when suddenly he vanished!

"What the....?" Said Batgirl and Thorp in unison.  The Garou rematerialised directly behind Batgirl, her keen senses realising too late that he was there.  The Garou reached out and tapped her shoulder gently, "The Falling Touch" caused intense fear in her and she fell stunned to the ground.  Gabriel yanked her dark sword from her grip and leapt at the beast, the eerie purple luminescence of the Cappadocian's weapon gave him a ghostly glow.  Thorp used celerity to move quickly to the edge of the clearing thus providing an adequate distraction as Gabriel leaped forward and sliced the Garou's head from his shoulders.  The creature's head rolled several feet towards Batgirl, it's yellow eyes now dead stared once more into the Cappadocian's green eyes.

The thick vile blood oozed from the base of the dead Garou's head. Gabriel, shocked that he had actually managed to kill it, stood staring at the decapitated body. Slowly, as he became more aware of his surroundings, he felt the pulsating pain welling up in his left arm. He glanced down at it and noted the clawmarks that had practically shredded his overcoat. Willing himself to heal, Gabriel handed the dark sword back to the former Prince, grateful for it's use.
"A Garou? Your driver? Why?" Thorp rasped. Gabriel turned to address him. He let a dirty and bloody hand raised to his forehead, pushing the long blonde hair from his eyes. The scar he had received months ago still sat atop his brow.
"I am STILL marked for death. Just last night I found them in my haven....my Keep...they murdered some of my townsfolk. Luckily most of them stayed in human form and I was able to awe and slaughter them. For now, I think we should seek out Drain, he is indespensable in situations such as these."
Gabriel pulled out his cellphone and punched the memory 1 key. Fredrick's number popped onto the small green screen. In the inky blackness of the forest the soft green light was pleasent and reassuring. The phone rang on the other end. Gabriel briefly told Fredrick to come pick them up and then hung up the phone.
"So....we'll speak with Drain....and then we better find out what we can about that sword....even if it means going to a....." Gabriel spat, "Tremere."

:driving down the road heading to the elysuim, Drain saw the limo off in the distance by the edge of the forest.  It had appently run off the road or been forced off.  The nossferatu shut off the lights of the car and costed to a stop.  he exited the car and ran quietly twords the limosine,  vering off to the right slightly.
:He saw the three vampires walking twords the road talking in whispers.  Gabe as usuall was on the phone most likely calling for a ride out of here and a clean up crew.  seeing that all was under controll he slunk away to the ruined limo and began an investigation.
:in the front seat was a bag with a recepit and a box of shotgun shells inside.  The recepeit read Jamestown sporting goods.
:Drain riffeld trher the rest of the car and came up with nothing more.
:the dead male on the ground dressed in shredded clothes was probibly a Werwolf.  The body proved to not be usefull.  He had no distinguishing marks or id on or around him.
:Drain took one last look around and headed for the road.  when he got to the there he saw the tail lights of a car headding away twords the city lights.

((whoa ho ho, we should publish this when its done!

"I still think we should've investigated, sniffed around the limo...find something useful..."Thorp muttered in the back seat of the car that Gabe had called for.
"Yeah, and get ourselves surrounded with angry garou..." Gabe said under his breath, obviously not comfortable that the car that was closest was nothing but a cheap ((for a ventrue)) audi.
Batgirl and Thorp were in the backseat, gabe was riding shotgun and a ghoul as big as a gorilla, the same one Graventhorp had seen back in gabe's office, was driving.
"Aren't we going to Eylsium?" Batgirl uttered..she had some wounds from the garou fight.
"No. We need to talk about that sword of Thorp's and we can't take it out there...we're going somewhere safe."
Thorp was watching the blurred scenery, blurred considering it was a pretty dark night and their were driving at over 250km per hour already some km away from Cascadia.
Some minutes later they arrived at what seemed to be nothing but a shack.
"I can't believe this is actually a place owned by a Ventrue" Thorp said with a smile.

"I take it back..." Thorp said with disgust as soon as he crossed the door frame. The place had been expanded downwards, excavated so it looked small from the outside but was  actually about as a big as an outlet store from the inside. 2 walls were completely covered with enourmous elegant bookshelves filled with an uncountable amount of books, and there was even one of those stairs with wheels for getting high books, the kind normal beings only see in movies. There were 2 expensive looking marbletop tables and felt lined armchairs to acompany them. On the far side a small door, leading to a kitchen judging by the strong scents Thorp got, seemed out of place.
"This is my little hide away." Gabriel said witha smile.
"But it looked so comfy from the outside..." Thorp fakedly whined, hating the luxury.
"Would you like anything to drink?" asked a ghoul dressed in a tux...in a tux!
"Bring us a dozen plasma bags...we need them. and then leave, and tell all ghouls to leave, we need privacy."

After all ghouls, except the Gorilla one, had left, Gabriel used a telephone, fancied to look like a really old one, to try to reach Drain.
Gabe shook his head an replaced the auricular.  "Can't seem to get hang of him."
"Could I please see the blade, Thorp?" Batgirl asked ignoring Gabe.
Graventhorp had removed his beloved black coat, with the white Gangrel logo on the back, and was examining the big hole on the back, which took out most of the gangrel wolf head.
"Wh-wha? oh sure..." Thorp muttered distractedly and unsheathed Lupus Mortis.
"I don't think I've ever heard of it..." The Cappadocian muttered in awe as the beaming blade was removed from the fancy silver embroiderd black sheath.
Thorp grabbed it from the blade and offered the hilt to Batgirl, still staring at his beloved ruined coat.
"ARGH!!" The fromer prince screamed as soon as a sizzling sound, followed by smoke erupted, then a metalical clatter...
"YOU NEVER MENTIONED IT WAS LUPUS MORTIS YOU DICKHEADS!" She screamed staring at her scalded hand.
"Oh! God! Sorry... I forgot..are you ok??" Lupus Mortis had burnt Batgirl's hand as soon as her hand had touched the gangrel sword.
Gabe saw the wound was minimal and chuckled. "I'm sure we mentioned the blade's name, you probably weren't listening..."

After 2 blood heals The Cappadocian was completely healed and examining the blade as it laid on one of the tables.
"The craftmanship is impressive...obviously cappa..." She unglued her eyes from the weapon, I've read much about the sword....may I please have the sheath?"
Thorp doubted for a moment, unstrapped the shethe from his waist and then hesitated.
"Won't it burn you?"
"I don't think it will..." Batgirl testily put a finger to the sheathe and removed it quickly...repeated the test twice and then took it with both her hands, un harmed.
"Ahh..there it is..."
"Oh, right, the cappa finger..." Thorp muttered. Gabe was still eyeing the sword that sat on the table, but turned when the finger was mentioned.
Batgirl slid the silver door and got the seemingly fresh finger, with a smile on her face only a Capapdocian could have with a finger on her hand.
"Impressive..the legend's actually true..."
"What DOES the finger do?" Gabe asked
"Well, it supposed to have absorbed most of the blade's power...copied it if you may...and actually channel them back to the blade..making it almost twice as powerful...Thorp, take the finger and touch the blade with it please"
Thorp raised an eyebrow, shrugged and obeyed.
As soon as the finger tip came in contact with the metal a blue wave flashed and spreaded through out the room, and then dissipated.
"What did I do that for?" Thorp asked, still in awe, millieseconds before whipping his head and finding a blue humaniod figure by the kitchen door. Thorp leapt...

"The wave made him visible.." Batgirl said with a smile, examining the finger. The spy had turned out to be a Nosferatu spy...waiting for Drain's arrival to show himself. He had confessed al this right after Thorp had lept, grabbed him by the head and sent him flying against the furthest wall, follwed by Gabe putting a revolver to his head and bats a sycthe to his neck.
