As we all know, the old vampire community died long ago (as far as in-game goes). But with the prospect of a NEW online game looms so do new possibilities.
Perhaps once the new game is played and once a suitable mod system is worked out it may be time to revive Cascadia...this time on a much prettier plane.
Of course, this is all speculation...the game could completely suck and could also not lend itself to RP, but you never know....
Thoughts/Comments?

I was thinking something like that too. I haven't heard whether VtM:Bloodlines is going to be multiplayer or not - that's bound play a HUGE part. There's plenty of time to worry about it, the game isn't out in the US til Spring 2004.

Good call Bats. I was sort of running on the assumption that since it was a first person shooter, it'd be multiplayer as most of them are these days.

As far as I know, Bloodlines is a singleplayer experience. It may have a multiplayer free for all, but I can't imagine it's the Vampire equiv of Everquest :(

I'm with Frank. Unreal-life-doom-vampire arena 2 doesn't sound particularly appealing.
And the work.... mapping it all? Who's gonna do it?

Done correctly an RPing online mod for Bloodlines (if it actually appears lol) could be fun. Seeing other characters through your characters eyes.

True.
Personally I'm waiting for EVE. The prospect of online Elite-style goodness is too great.

Porter is waiting for me? Sheesh. Mangy Scots git. I always suspected you you were into that sorta thing :P
If there is real RP potentials I would be completely up to dragging my mangina out of retirement. I've been playing DAoC and it is boring as fuck. Hmm, can I say that on TV? Boring as FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK FUCK. I can't believe i still waste my money on it. On a side note, I recently reinstalled VtMR and am having a wonderful time in God mode blowing up baddies with a rocket launcher. Good wholesome fun.
On a completely unrelated note, I can't mow my lawn today as I have no gas in the lawn mower. Told ya it was unrelated.

DAoC sucked utter cock.
EVE however looks fun. Majestic space battles. Galactic piracy. Squads of fighters escorting your new cruiser :D :D :D

Heh, nice one Eve. I've been playing VtM:R single-player this week, I'm ashamed to admit I couldn't find the damn floor panel thingy in the Cappa section and spent 30 mins searching for a walk through that would tell me where it was hidden! Of course it was right under Christof's big nose.
One of the better FP's I've seen is Thief. You just can't play it as a kill-em-all, it's strategy or die. The map builder is simple to use but chances are VtM:B will be nothing like it since Thief is about 40 years old now (or something).
Pardon my ignorance... what's DAoC?
Has anyone played NWN multiplayer? Any good? I guess I should reinstall it sometime. What about Bloodrayne for PC? I'm thinking about asking for the birthday faeries for it... should I bother?
