Hey everyone!

Damn been a while, can't believe the site is still up ( to my pleasant surprise of course! )

Hows everyone been doing?

Hey man, I'm doing well! Older and wiser hopefully.

How've you been?

Great to hear from you pal,

Been doing great, grown older inevitably, time changes a lot of things, got married and have a daughter now, hell can you believe that?

If someone told me this would come to be in my life I would have laughed in their face back in the day lol.

I do miss having the time to write a little, do you guys still do or play once a while together still?

Ha! Sounds like we wound up on similar paths! I'm also married with a daughter!

How old is your daughter? Mine's 3.5.

As for writing, Frank and I have written on and off in the past few years. We were part of another VtM group for awhile which sadly fell apart because the owner was a loony. We also played Call of Cthulhu for a bit because who doesn't love madness-inducing, teeth gnashing, soul wrenching Cosmic Horror?

We're sort of presently between groups which is a shame because I miss writing.

aha cool!

Mine just turned 2.

I do miss writing as well, I did participate here and there in a few forums, nothing that had the spark and fire that was our community here for sure.

Planning to play Elder Scroll online next week with a few friends ( provided I can make time for it ). Now free to play and has playable vampire race ( upon infection ) , which sort of caught my attention a little for good ol times sake.

Other than that, I do miss writing a shit ton for sure, been wanting to re-write some of the key chronicles I had back in the day with more decent and plausible vampire materials.

Ahh maybe one day, anybody else still active here?

I don't think many folks are active here any longer. I know Frank and Jason (Porter and Drain respectively) occasionally check the board.

I like to jump on now and again and look at old threads. SoC was definitely a mixture of perfect timing, especially for me. It was this great PC game combined with a great RPG, combined with the right personalities and the relative irresponsibility of youth to spend hours writing, RPing, etc.

As you said, I've been on boards here and there since, but nothing's quite matched the full blown life-hijacking obsession that SoC was. :)

Haha yea true.

Well none the less, was nice talking back to an old friend :)

Ill check here and then for maybe writing activities to take part in!

Take care pal!

Hi there too, got nostalgic, went to see if this was still up.
I still miss vampire :p

Hey Shin! This is a wonderful trove of memories. Good of Stef to keep it up.

Yeah I miss those early nights of vamp as well. Every Sunday rushing to the Guild Meetings in WON.net. The Elysium chat room that always ended in a fight (usually Judas' fault).

Good times.

Batty & I did a ton of work a while back to try to ensure the longevity of this site.

As it stands, it's hosted by me personally and for the moment my hosting is secure and unlikely to go anywhere. As long as that remains the case, I will keep the site running.

It doesn't cost me anything and it's very low impact for resources, so it's my pleasure to keep it going.
