So...I know it's been out for ages, but I just recently caught this on DVD. I like Burton and Depp, so I was excited to see it. Good stuff. Johnny Depp can carry a tune, and as always Tim Burton's dark vision is carried out with attention to detail.

Now I knew the Ten Penney Opera prior to Sweeney Todd so I knew the story about him murdering customers for money, etc etc. sp I came into it expecting to see a fair amount of blood...

...but WOAH. This thing is GORY. I mean G-O-R-Y.

Wow.

Haven't watched it. Purely because Hollywood, of late, has been churning out Depp in too-high amounts. That and I got bored of Burton's style.

Got 3:10 to Yuma to watch now :) And watched Zatoichi last night - Japanese blind ronin/unnamed hero type thing. Was pretty cool :)

Meh, Dark Knight was better.

And the ultimate Christmas film has to be Alastair Sim's version of Scrooge. Failing that, the ultimate feel good film for Christmas viewing is It's A Wonderful Life.

Oh and the original Miracle on 34th Street's better :)

Watched disc one of Schindler's list tonight, now thats a mammoth film to watch all in one sitting!
Too tired to watch the next one tonight plus Ami, Boo(josh) are me are going to Meadowhall tomorrow for the last of the xmas shopping :):)

Well the Jews killed Christ didn't they? Allowing him to level up and come back as a Force Ghost. So if Christ hadn't been born, thus Christmas Day then he couldn't have died (via the Jews) and dinged to the level cap for the Prophet Class in the Earth MMO.

I'd say that makes it Christmas-y....sorta
