Yeah tell me about it.

First AOL cocked up my order twice so I told them to fuck off.

Then they left a marker on the line so it took 3 weeks instead of one.

Annoyingly because I live out in the sticks, I can now only get a 512 connection.

We have friends in the same location .....they have broadband ...u should shop around i think they are with tescos :)

Like I said, I am getting broadband, but due to the nature of the line to the house the maximum speed I can get is 512mb, 1meg IF they increase the gain.

The ISP is unimportant. It's all about distance from the exchange. All UK DSL services rely on BT lines anyway (excepting a very few LLU friendly areas).
