As someone who's not been a big fan of Mick and the boys in the past (aside from their late 60's, early 70's stuff) I held off on picking up their latest CD. The wrinkley rockers still got it though.

Really? I'm always surprised when people insult Mick. Not so much for his more recent songwriting abilites (that's understandable), but for not recognizing what I would credit with revolutionizing the front man's role in a band.

Up there with Elvis, Jagger took center stage and made the front man a vital position over just vocals. Stage presence.

Maybe I'm just over emphasizing his importance...feh.
