Ah bliss..........

[i:676ce377d8]Willy Porter - Big Yellow Pine[/i:676ce377d8]

I am a man with a story to tell
Deep in my heart a dark shadow still dwells
I knew love to be stronger than sin at one time
To break a good heart is surely a crime

I had me a friend way back in that time
Handsome and strong no doubt smarter than I
He could charm the young girls with a wink of an eye
To break a good heart is surely a crime

La da da....

The girl that I loved was simple and true
But like all the others she found her heart flew
Flew away with him when he gave her the sign
To break a good heart is surely a crime

Eleven months passed and he travelled away
He left that girls heart alone there to break
She would sit in the shade of a big yellow pine
To break a good heart is surely a crime

La da da....

Nine years have passed and he came back to town
He’d left his wife for to wander around
The tide of love can be a salty brine
To break a good heart is surely a crime

He saw my true love, she was lonely still
So he put his charms to the work of his will
To make that girl’s love a mark he could claim
To break a good heart, once again

It was then that I knew I could not let this pass twice
I asked him to leave and I asked him nice
He said only a fool would not have had her by now
I'm just passing through and she’s alone anyhow

I felt red anger rise to my hands
And I took his life there and then
I could not let this man break her heart twice
And I buried him deep ‘neath that big yellow pine
Yeah I buried him deep ‘neath that big yellow pine

La da da....

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK

maddox has made me laugh in the past, sure, but his generalizations and "holier-than-thou" disdainful bullshit hit a tender string this time.

Uncontroversial!?!?!?!?!

did anyone hear about U2's Vertigo 2005 Tour breaking the WORLD record by having been ENTIRELY sold out even before the first concert started?? Wanna see this tour in San Diego in march? sold out...how about Portugal in July? Sold Out. December? sold out. Europe? sold out. America? Sold. Out.

That's millions of tickets, all bought in a matter of a couple of months. So yeah, if nobody but "diehard U2 fans" care about U2, then we're out there by the fucking millions. more than literally.

agh, if i had the time i could fucking revoke every single of his comments, every single one....but maddox being maddox wont care, and you guys wont either...so...ill just crank up All Because of You here, by myself.

Just don't go criticizing things you know shit about.

::grumbles::

Hey Kahn, I'm not a U2 fan, granted, but I do support your zealous support for your band. So, rock on Kahn!

*sighs*

Anyway, everyone has their own favourite band, or singers. Let's leave it at that.
